You were amazing - so many students and staff talked about you after the event. Thank you for doing it at such short notice- much appreciated
Your contribution and support at our ‘Future Leaders’ event really added a special insight into your career journey and inspired so many students - many were talking about your presentation once they returned to school. I know attending such events takes time, thought and preparation – so thank you!

LMP Action recently had the task of arranging a work experience week for the year 12 students at William Morris Sixth Form.
The week was designed to offer students the chance to engage with a sector they were passionate about and experience a week of meeting professionals, engaging in workshops and being immersed into their chosen sector with a timetable of impressive sessions.
We engaged with Ife Obasa who was tasked with putting together the Law sector stream. Ife worked tirelessly to engage with professionals that work in Law, to put together a brilliant timetable of sessions that the students loved. In their first session, the young people had a talk and Q&A session with Jenny Afia from Schillings, who made such an impression talking about the world of media law and the types of cases she has worked on. The week continued in the same vein, with sessions from professionals at all stages of their careers from a training contract holder, Family Lawyer, Corporate Lawyer, to a sitting Judge who came to facilitate and officiate a debate that the students had been working on.
The week was an absolute success, thanks to Ife’s organisational skills, with students getting to ask questions, make connections and have a chance to see if a career in Law is for them.
The service that Ife offered was amazing. All the professionals were sent a brief and were thoroughly prepped. Ife created a debating task booklet that contained background, context and legislation pertaining to Stop and Search laws. This was used for students to prepare their arguments and helped develop softer skills, including confidence and public speaking.
I am looking forward to working with Ife again in the future as she made the student's week so relevant to the different stages of a journey into law and the students all left such positive comments.
“I was unsure if I could become a lawyer, but I think I am definitely going to try as the people we met are so normal and answered all of my questions”.
”My highlight was when the Judge told me I’m a great public speaker”.
”I enjoyed the week. I can see that it’s going to be hard work but I’m ready for it”.
I would happily recommend Ife to anyone considering using her services.

Ife provided the keynote session for our pupil conference for young people in year 9 and 10, focusing on attainment. Ife was engaging and inspirational, speaking to pupils about the importance of believing in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals, whatever they may be. She was relatable, sharing her own story as well as being engaging and encouraging to the pupils attending the conference. Her session started our day with the energy and enthusiasm we needed for all to have a positive experience. I hope to engage with Ife again in the future.

We connected through The Future Leaders Project, where she supported us with some content creation around helping students find their purpose and more specifically, getting into Law as an industry. Her words were powerful and inspiring, and she has since become part of our mentor network. She is a force for good and such a joy to work with!

Ife supported the #WeAreCareers show, a Career Development Institute-recognised CPD livestream/podcast that I co-host, as part of an episode entitled 'Careers and Gen Z' in January 2023 and was an outstanding guest, providing valuable insights for our viewers on the career development challenges facing Gen Z individuals, which helped bring to life many of the challenges facing younger clients that our members might not have been aware of. Ife is an extremely eloquent speaker and has a knack for distilling complex topics (such as generational differences in career development needs) into simple, clear statements and insights to provoke further thought and conversation. Ife was an engaging, enthusiastic and professional guest speaker and I would be delighted to work with her again in the future.
